Project Details
Description
The RAMI research infrastructure has been strategically designed to strengthen the long-term core expertise of the host organizations (Aalto, GTK and VTT) and the Finnish academia, to position Finland among the global research leaders in inorganic raw materials and advanced material needed in the circular economy. RAMI was selected 2018 to the Finland's Roadmap for National Research Infrastructures. During the initial years of operation, it is on its way from a few AoF funded equipment to an excellent platform that provides the users advanced wide palette of high-tech tools. Our openly accessible research infrastructure promotes the high-impact scientific research in Finland, in European scale, e.g., via the EIT Raw Materials' Networks of Infrastructures, and globally by our international collaborators exploiting these facilities. In addition to the academia, our infrastructure provides unique services to the industry and other stakeholders.
