Project Details


Our research focuses on very natural problems in mathematics such as interpolation of datum with smooth convex functions. The class of smooth convex functions plays a central role in Optimization, Geometry, Partial Differential Equations or Economics. Also, we will study the existence and regularity of solutions to some partial differential equations such evolution Hamilton-Jacobi equations or the Infinity-Laplace equation, which are fundamental in the calculus of variations, classical mechanics, dynamical systems or stochastic game theory.

Our goal is to obtain breakthroughs, publish the results in leading journals and to collaborate with national and international colleagues. This research will be carried out within the research group Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations at the Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis, at Aalto University: https://math.aalto.fi/en/research/analysis/npde/
