Project Details

Description

The LA-3D-NP project aims at developing a new nanoprinting method and a workflow process for producing 2D/3D nanoprints out of aerosolized particles by a focused laser beam. The potential scientific impact of this method and technology will be a new paradigm for nanoprinting of any type of material at a sub-micron resolution, a capability that is currently unmatched from the state-of-the-art. The LA-3D-NP technology has a potentially excellent environmental impact because of saving materials by eliminating the need for nanofabrication by multi-step fabrication methods such as lithography.
