The Finnish-Chinese Joint-Symposium on Clean Energy will link Finnish and Chinese research organizations around strategically important areas in clean energy. The Symposium will discuss next steps for research moving beyond the state-of-the-art in solar energy, energy storage, and fuel cells, which are highly relevant topics in energy. China has a very high standing in these areas. Themes to be discussed include: Understanding the role of new nanomaterials for advanced electrochemical conversion, stability of materials, new material and device developments. Some 40 researchers from China and Finland are expected to the Symposium in summer 2019.
