In this project we propose to combine the complementary expertise collected in Aalto University and Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Moscow, Russia): the NanoMaterials Group led by Prof. Esko I. Kauppinen has acquired one of the largest expertise in systematic development of SWCNT synthesis, while Russian researchers recently have performed very first steps towards a reinforced machine learning algorithm for the optimisation of the nanotube growth.
