Project Details

Description

This project studies emotions of computer users. The goal is to create a computational model of emotional rationality, which means that a computer simulation can predict users' adaptive behaviour and emotions, as they interact with computers. The research utilises formal mathematical modelling, computer programming, and data collected from experiments with human participants. Computational simulation models of emotion will be necessary for researchers and practitioners in designing and evaluating user experiments as well as technological designs.
