Description

Machine-type communications in fifth generation mobile communication systems is optimized in the project. A natural way of providing machine-type service is to enable direct accees to data transmission by Random Access Channels. Both physical and link layer coding methods are investigated, which enable multiuser detection and collision resolution. The codes are designed to exploit frequecny and spatial diversity.
