Description

Conservation and management of freshwater resources is one of the major challenges humanity is facing in this century. This project joins the expertise in various areas of minerals flotation of the research groups at Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Aalto University and Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Cape Town. These groups aim to map the key components of extremely complex recycling water systems as well as outline the research protocols for their assessment. The obtained results will help evaluation and implementation of alternatives for water saving in mineral processing operations with special focus on flotation.
