Description

Ultranopeat pulssilaserit ovat olleet jo pitkään olennainen osa laservalmistajien tuotevalikoimaa. Erityisesti keski-infrapuna-alueen ultranopeisiin kuitulasereihin on kohdistunut suurta mielenkiintoa monilta kasvavilta ja syntymässä olevilta sovellusaloilta varsinkin mittaus-, kuvantamis- ja lääketieteen sovelluksissa. Tämä projekti tähtää uuden grafeeniin perustuvan laserteknologian kaupallistamiseen. Projektissa kehitetään huippuluokan ultranopea kuitulaser kahden mikrometrin aallonpituusalueelle ja tuodaan teknologia saataville teollisille markkinoille.
