Personal profile

Artistic and research interests

I am an assistant professor at Aalto University, where I conduct interdisciplinary research at the intersection of humans and technology (engineering psychology).

Much of my work focuses on human-centered security and privacy, for instance developing human-centered defenses against social engineering attacks and fostering behavior change. In my research, I employ qualitative and quantitative social science methods to understand the complex relationships between people and technology.

Some ongoing projects include social approaches to cybersecurity and privacy, defenses against social engineering and misinformation.
