    Artistic and research interests

    Currently I act as an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Art and Media, Aalto University, Finland. My reearch interests include higher arts education, arts and creativity in academia, university pedagogy as well as professional and academic development. My special interest is in collaborative research endeavors and in “new” modes of (post) qualitative inquiry presented in e.g. the edited book by Koro-Ljungberg, M., Löytönen, T. & Tesar, M. (eds.) (2017). Disrupting data in qualitative inquiry. Entanglements with the Post-Critical and Post-Anthropocentric. New York: Peter Lang Publishing. I have published my scholarly work in several refereed journals and edited volumes as well as presented my research work in various academic networks.

    Prior to this position I was a full-time scholar for around ten years funded by the Academy of Finland, first as a Post-Doctoral Researcher (2008-2010)  at University of the Arts Helsinki, Theatre Academy and then as an Academy Research Fellow at Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture (2011-2016). During 2016-2021 I had the priviledge to work as a Senior Specialist  for develping the strategic approach of Art and Creative Practices at Aalto University.
