Artistic and research interests

Taneli Luotoniemi is a doctoral candidate at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Art. Currently emploeyd by the Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis, he also teaches geometry and topology to art, design, and engineering students at his home university. In his research, he investigates the visual possibilities of provoking and counter-intuitive conceptions of space described in mathematics in the context of topics such as topology, projective geometry, and higher dimensions.
