Artistic and research interests

I am working on the development of the Ioncell process. The Ioncell technology developed at Aalto University converts dissolving pulp and low-grade raw cellulosic materials such as textile waste into man-made cellulose fibers utilizing ionic liquid as a solvent. The fibers can be applied in textiles or technical applications. My research is focused on the recovery and purification of the solvent.
