    Artistic and research interests

    Assistant Professor Sandip Bankar's research interests include:

    1. Bioprocess development of value added biomolecules including enzymes, antibiotics, and industrial biopolymers/solvents.
    2. Facilitation of microbial flux during fermentation pathway and advanced purification techniques for production of biomolecules by using second generation feedstock.
    3. Scale-up studies using mathematical kinetics and simulation to configure overall process economics.
