    Personal profile

    Artistic and research interests

I am a researcher, architect and urbanist with a passion to build accessible and sustainable communities. I am curious about how cities and spaces affect people's behavior. I want to empower people to participate in planning and decision making more effectively, and through my research help planning organizations facilitate this in an transparent and inclusive way.

I am currently doing doctoral research in a project focused on the health and wellbeing effects of urban environments and green areas. My personal research focuses on how to utilize knowledge gathered through citizen participation in planning, and how to increase communication and accountability between citizens, decision makers and planning organizations.

I am also very interested in university management and academic affairs, and have actively participated in Aalto University educational development since 2012.
