Matti Huotari focuses on the building energy performance and occupant well-being with the help of artificial intelligence tools and internet of things equipment. This includes indoor environment comfort and overall usability for building users, owners and maintenance personnel. Furthermore, the research aims at saving building energy for both design and operation phases.
