Personal profile

Artistic and research interests

I am Professor of Practice in software engineering. The research focus of our team is on requirements engineering, long-term solution planning, roadmapping, and customer value creation. My personal research interest has been for nearly twenty years to understand how software development teams can identify and analyse customer needs, and build digital services that are useful and easy-to-use. Recently, our team has started to investigate how to integrate the analysis of ethical issues into requirements engineering. I also enjoy being a member of the program committees of two international requirement engineering conferences and a member of the Editorial Board of Requirements Engineering Journal. In addition to research work, I devote a significant amount of my time to teaching and guiding master’s thesis students.
