John Knight is a Service Design practitioner, researcher and Aalto doctoral candidate. His research focuses on understanding collaboarative digital design work and has a strong orientation toward practice; applying academic study methodologies through the lens of industrial ways of working. A graduate of Newport College of Art and Design, John also studied at Birmingham Institue of Art and Design, Guildhall University and the Aalto School of Strategic Design. Outside of his practice and studies, he is a long-standing member of the British Computer Society, Interaction Group and Editorial Member of the Design Journal.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
