Artistic and research interests

I investigate high-performance steel structures for challenging marine environment. My research focus is on light and efficient ship structures that utilize high strength materials and modern manufacturing technology. I am interested in research projects that aim at both fundamental understanding of fatigue and fracture, but also practical challange. My research covers characterization and strength analysis methods for complex structures from crystal behavior to continuum modelling.
