Elina Happonen

I work as a Researcher and PhD candidate at the Institute of Strategy and Venturing at Aalto University with focus on growth strategies in private equity. My professional interests lie within strategy, business development, corporate finance, and M&As. I have worked for two Nordic banks and for advisory services firms, gaining real-world experience in investment banking, corporate development, and management consulting.

I have a Master's degree from the Helsinki University of Technology (The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management) where I majored in Strategy and International Business and where my choice for a technical minor was Systems Analysis and Operations Research (i.e. applied mathematics and statistics).
