Artistic and research interests

Our research focuses on advancing clean technologies for a low-carbon future through electrochemistry, a key field in sustainable energy conversion and storage. We aim to accelerate the discovery and understanding of functional materials for electrochemical technologies by combining materials synthesis, high-throughput experimentation, correlative multi-microscopy, and multiscale electrochemistry. By uncovering the key factors that influence material performance and degradation, we establish new design principles for improved electrochemical interfaces and applications.

Our main research areas include green hydrogen production and the electro-valorization of biomass and other low-value resources.
