Artistic and research interests

Antti is working on his doctoral dissertation on the role of empathy in design projects, focusing on how different levels of understanding end-users influence teamwork, the design process, and its outcomes – in various types of case projects. His fields of interest include user-centered design, product development, and design thinking.

Antti has a M.Sc. (Tech) degree in mechanical engineering from the Aalto University School of Engineering, and is currently part of the Doctoral Programme of Engineering at Aalto University. He will perform part of his doctoral studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, starting August 2018.
