Artistic and research interests
The research interests of Prof. Antero Arkkio deal with modelling, design, and measurement of rotating electrical machines. Modelling is mainly based on numerical magnetic field analysis. In recent years, he has focused his studies particularly on the losses and energy efficiency of electrical machines.
