The Department of Finance is an active research unit. The research covers a broad range of topics in the areas of Corporate Finance and Financial Markets. Current focus areas in research are:

  • Behavioral Finance,
  • Corporate Finance, and
  • Asset Pricing

The department actively participates in international research seminars and conferences. Finance has a research seminar arranged within the Graduate School of Finance (GSF) joint with Hanken School of Economics.

Articles by current and former members of the faculty have been published in a wide range of top academic journals, such as Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
