This group focuses on probing the atomic scale structure and electronic properties of molecules and nanostructures using low-temperature scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). We have a particular interest in fabricating and characterizing atomically well-defined nanostructures to study physical phenomena at the nanoscale.
