Description

The NUMISHEET 2025 Scientific Benchmark dataset was created for the scientific benchmark study presented at the NUMISHEET 2025. It provides experimental data for calibrating and validating (validationset added after the conference) material models for dual-phase steel (DP800HHE). It includes mechanical test data from various loading conditions and orientations, along with reference measurements from the Material Under Control (MUC) Test. Participants were challenged to identify the relevant material parameters and simulate the MUC-Tests using their preferred numerical methods. The benchmark study focuses on comparing the accuracy of predicted force–displacement curves and strain distributions with the experimental results. The dataset serves as an open reference for evaluating and benchmarking advanced material models in sheet metal forming simulations.
