This repository contains experimental Free-Fall Cone Penetrometer Test (FFCPT) data, Generalized Interpolation Material Point Method (GIMP) simulation videos, and MATLAB analysis codes associated with the study entitled "Determining Seabed Shear Strength from Free-Fall Cone Penetrometer Test Data: Coupled Experimental, Numerical, and Analytical Insights", accepted for publication in Ocean Engineering.

The repository includes laboratory-scale FFCPT datasets obtained on soft marine clay, video recordings of corresponding GIMP numerical simulations used to investigate cone penetration behaviour, and MATLAB scripts developed for data processing, image analysis, analytical interpretation, and result visualization.

These materials are provided to support the reproducibility of the study and to facilitate future research on free-fall cone penetrometer testing and seabed characterization in soft marine sediments.
