Cement Paste Composites

The samples contain cement paste with PVA hydrogel enclosed by two Nickel foam electrodes with carbon nanotubes. Cement paste composites are 25 mm in diameter and 5 mm thick, while the electrodes are 25 mm x 25 mm and 1.6 mm thick. Variations of the sample details are as follows: S1 0 % hyd./cement, W/C=0.33, unfrozen, hydrogel 0 %, KOH 0. S2: 0 % hyd, 0 % hydrogel, 1 mol KOH, S3: 0% hyd/cement, hydrogel at electrode-cement interface, 0 KOH, S4: 0% hyd., hydrogel at electode-cement interface, 1 mol KOH.
