Responsibilities include: Overseeing and assessing all curricular needs for the MAT program; recruiting and interviewing applicants; advising and monitoring students regarding curriculum, state certification requirements, program issues and concerns, pre-­‐clinical and clinical fieldwork, and research issues; developing and revising all documents relating to MAT; organizing and facilitating MAT student meetings; developing and advising colloquium with MAT students; working with Chair of the Department and other stakeholders including representatives for the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) review, National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) review, Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) annual reports, and Title II documentation.
