This paper will proposition research as an act of re-enactment. It will present the similarity and differences between the research and re-enactment in relation
to the act of ‘going back’ or ‘returning to’ previously developed knowledge. Through exploration of the temporal complexities, re-enactment invites, we will start to see its potentials for developing new understandings of past phenomena.
