NODUS TALKS series is organized by the NODUS
Sustainable Design Research Group of Aalto University,
bringing together researchers and practitioners on
topics relevant to design, innovation and sustainability.
Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion,
both held in English.

DR. SAMPSA HYYSALO is professor of co-design at
Aalto University, Department of Design. Sampsa’s
research and teaching interests are in co-design and user
involvement in sustainable sociotechnical change. He
will present a mid-range pathway creation toolset which
helps diverse participants to codesign changes toward
transition goals in areas such as energy, biodiversity and
aquatic resource use.

JUHA KRONQVIST is a lead service designer at Hellon,
a design agency challenging traditional management
consulting with a human-centered focus on business and
leadership. He will present the Nordic Urban Mobility
game, a tool for discovering future paths and planning
cross-industry collaboration. The game was developed in collaboration with Nordic Innovation.
