NODUS TALKS series is organized by NODUS
Sustainable Design Research Group of Aalto University,
bringing together researchers and practitioners on
topics relevant to design, innovation and sustainability.
Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion,
both held in English.

DR. SANNA LEHTINEN is Research Fellow at the Helsinki
Institute of Sustainability Science HELSUS (University
of Helsinki) and the President of the Finnish Society for
Aesthetics. She will talk about the concept of aesthetic
sustainability and how it can increase our understanding
of experiential quality and sustainable futures.

NEMO architects, Maria and Jussi Laine, is a young
Helsinki-based architectural practice working on
sustainable architecture and design in the present
market. NEMO will present their concepts for creating
public awareness of sustainable aesthetics.
