DescriptionRealization of an artistic project in the field of contemporary art is a task that could be converted into effective instrument of practical and theoretical learning. This instrument is capable to adapt to the academic context and to be imbedded into the art education system. How is this task being addressed in different institutions? What are the benefits of the introduction of digital culture into the academic environment? How does the appeal to the potential of contemporary art affect the educational process? What opportunities does this integration open, what issues are raised and what ways of further evolution of the multidisciplinary approach are of greatest interest to specialists?
The above-mentioned questions have become increasingly relevant with the development and improvement of interactive forms of the art projects related to it. Consideration of them is an important step towards self-determination of the
community engaged in contemporary media art practices.
A basis for the discussion will be an exchange of experiences between media artists being educators and specialists responsible for the organization of the educational process.
The round table had experts from various countries including Canada, Finland Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom.
