Description
In this paper, a six-variable quasi-3D model is developed for laminated composite plate subjected to thermal and mechanical loadings. With higher-order terms in the displacement fields, the plate model can capture both shear deformation and thickness stretching effects. Consequently, it enables us to achieve more accurate results in deflection, shear stress distributions, which are satisfied with traction free and interlaminate continuity conditions. The governing equation is derived from Galerkin weak form and then discretized by isogeometric analysis (IGA), which utilized NURBS basis function to fulfill C1-continuity requirement without additional variables.Period | 28 Aug 2018 → 29 Aug 2018 |
